Botulinum Therapy
"BOTULAX" (korea)

Overview

Smooth out wrinkles and fine lines with Botulinum Therapy, commonly known as Botox. This popular non-surgical treatment temporarily relaxes the facial muscles responsible for expression lines, such as crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, and frown lines. Botox offers a quick, effective solution to refresh your appearance with natural-looking results

Benefits

  • Reduces Wrinkles: Effectively diminishes the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and fine lines
  • Quick Procedure: Fast, in-office treatment that takes just minutes to complete.

  • No Downtime: Resume normal activities immediately after the procedure

  • Natural Results: Achieve a smoother, refreshed look without the “frozen” appearance

How It Works

Botox works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the muscles, reducing their activity. This prevents the muscles from contracting and forming wrinkles. During the treatment, a fine needle is used to inject small amounts of Botox into the targeted muscles. The procedure is precise and typically takes only 10-20 minutes, depending on the areas treated.

What to Expect

  • Duration: 10-20 minutes
  • Pain Level: Minimal discomfort, often described as a slight pinch or pressure.
  • Recovery: Mild redness or swelling may occur but usually subsides within a few hours. Most patients return to their daily routine immediately.
  • Results: Initial results are visible within 3-5 days, with full effects appearing after about 2 weeks. The results typically last 3-6 months.

Before & After Care

Before the Procedure:

  • Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin or ibuprofen) for 24 hours prior to treatment.
  • Ensure your skin is clean and free of makeup before the procedure.

After the Procedure:

  • Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours.

Who is a Good Candidate?

Botox is ideal for adults who are experiencing dynamic wrinkles, such as forehead lines, crow’s feet, and frown lines, and who wish to achieve a smoother, more youthful appearance without surgery. Individuals with certain medical conditions, such as neuromuscular disorders, should consult with our specialists to determine if Botox is appropriate.

In 90% of cases there is no discomfort. There will definitely be a feeling of tightness, a slight tingling in places. The muscles will “seize” gradually.

Preparation for botulinum toxin injections
Do not drink alcohol the day before the injection, as it may increase the risk of bruising and hematomas. It is advisable to stop taking antibiotics and anticoagulants (aspirin, cardiomagnyl and other blood thinners).

On the day of the visit
Do not tilt your head for a long time. If your head is lowered for a long time, blood circulation in the face will increase, and the drug may not be distributed correctly. For this reason, it is not recommended, for example, to attend massage sessions during which you will have to lie face down, iron, vacuum and wash the floor (due to the need to keep your head tilted) and buy shoes (trying on shoes is also usually associated with constant bending).

What you should not do after the procedure
Immediately after the procedure, it is forbidden to touch, rub or massage the areas where beauty injections were administered. It is also forbidden to lie down or play sports for several hours.
Alcohol should be completely excluded in the first 10 days, as it is incompatible with the injected product. During this period, you should also avoid overheating your skin and postpone visiting baths, saunas, hot baths and active sun, as well as taking antibiotics.

18+ according to indications

It all depends on the individual characteristics of the patient. It is used:

  • from 18 to 30-33 years old — to correct early expression wrinkles and creases. For example, if you constantly frown and have a crease between your eyebrows, the drug will not only remove it, but also make you wean yourself off of a stern expression
  • from 30-33 to 60 years, botulinum therapy is successfully used to correct various age-related changes
  • after 60 years, botulinum toxin should be used with caution, on the advice of a specialist: it is important to remember that botulinum toxin can smooth out muscles, but it cannot remove excess skin

about 15-20 minutes depending on individual preferences for transformation
